Once again I've been set free upon the world!
How good it feels to walk amongst strangers!
To wander villages, towns and super cities aimlessly!
To dance like knowbody I acutally know is watching...
And free to get as fat as I can with the best food in the world!
(sorry ladies I'm not gunna return to pretty)

I have been reminded once again how lucky we are to be living where we do!
What we lack in some areas we sure make up for in others!
Next plan, bring a little more of europe into our canadian lifes!

Muffin-man and the Terrible Togas

After an interesting and anecdotal Thursday night to celebrate a milestone for Muffinman, a party friday needed a big effort to back it up. In a typical exemplification of the louts they are, Rob and Cole et al, turned up to a togaless party, megaphone in hand and proceeded to turn the tide and convert the crowd. Not withstanding it's moments of stupidity, i.e. a toilet paper toga, permanent marker tattoos and mustaches, their efforts were admirable.

Oi Mate! Where is Dan? Danny don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more!

A legacy has ended...

Last night Aussie Dan left Kelowna to continue his worldly adventures in Central America.  For the last two weeks the house has been celebrating an amazing summer with all night dance partys and numerous Kangaroo sightings.  Knowing that Dan was soon on his way the house pulled together to make sure his last days were memorable.  For if Dan fondly remembers his months in Kelowna then hopefully he will one day return!

80s Party

Last friday night we had an 80s party at the Motel Bates as it was Conor's birthday and Alex and Marie's farewell. Heaps of people showed up and it turned out to be a cracker of a night!

Plenty of cheesy 80s tunes, bad dresses, big hair-dos, spandex and aviators ensured lots of laughter and some great photos!

Memorable moments include: Paul's Billy Jean dance routine (complete with the Moon Walk) and an impromptu aerobics class put on by a chick wearing lycra.

At the party there was an incident where a car got broken into and some stuff in the house went missing so if you saw any suspicious characters or know anything please get in contact with Darren.
